Chris Ferguson is recognized as one of the best poker players in the world, he started playing poker after spending 18 years in college to get a Ph.D. in computer science. Chris Ferguson started playing poker online at IRC chat channels. After school, Chris started playing in small poker tournaments around the Los Angeles area. In 2000 Chris Ferguson won the World Series of Poker’s Main Event making $1.5 million. Chris Ferguson has won World Series of Poker bracelets for the Omaha High/Low Split event and the Limit Hold’em and Seven Card Stud event. He was also national champion at the Heads Up No Limit Hold’em in 2008. He does not have a defined playing style; he changes his styled depending on the situation.
