Levin’s group came to be initially as a place for student poker players to gather in Manchester after the official University Poker Society was banned when the University of Manchester discovered the society was playing for cash. Levin explains, "Within 2 years ESP has grown rapidly; we have over 300 members. We have seen students from all over the north-west come to our regional tournament and within the next year we should be on other campuses in the north-west area!"
Considering the success of the ESP, Levin is thinking of expanding into other major cities like Birmingham, where student poker games are also limited.
